SEED Program

SEED stands for Supporting and Empowering Entrepreneurial Development

Business Incubator

SEED stands for Supporting and Empowering Entrepreneurial Development and was developed in partnership with Notre Dame’s Urban Poverty and Business Initiative.

This 11-month program provides aspiring entrepreneurs with critical support through:

  1. A bootcamp covering essential business principles.
  2. A mentoring experience pairing participants with successful entrepreneurs.
  3. A student consulting engagement, in which business students deliver customized solutions.
  4. Community Connect events that allow participants to showcase their businesses.

There is no cost to participate, but the program is rigorous and intended for entrepreneurs who are ready to launch their business in a short period of time.

The next SEED program will begin in August 2026 and finish in May 2027.

Registration is now open and will close on June 20.

The turning point for my business arrived in July 2025 when I joined the SEED (Supporting and Empowering Entrepreneurial Development) program at Indiana University Northwest. It was here that the "unknowns" finally became known. Through the program's rigorous framework, I identified the missing steps in my business foundation and embraced the concept of managed growth.
